Cherish The Day
(DVF dress, Zara jacket, Steve Madden shoes, F21 sunnies)
My last post didn't do justice to this beautiful DVF dress that I snagged at Neiman Marcus' Last Call while shopping with my new roommates. I received so many deals at that store that it's baffling to me why anyone would go to the regular Neiman's when they can just easily wait for the discounted Zac Posens or Alaias to arrive at the store!
Anyway, these pictures were taken in the Warehouse District where abandon, rustic buildings meet New Orleans high rises and the river. It's an area with unexpected charm that I've been wanting to show you all for some time. Luckily, my best friend was able to capture it so wonderfully. He knows how I love anything raw and with many imperfections. Add cloudy skies and water puddles, and I think this setting does the trick of bringing out the dress's best features.

I rarely ever purchase anything at Neiman Marcus regular store at regular price. Smart shopper always wait for the sale, especially if we don't have an unlimited budget to spend. When the regular store has a big sale, I usually try to snap on some nice shoes or a must have designer piece that I know will less likely be found again at a great deal. The Neiman Marcus lastcall store has many great designer pieces at the color stamped discount....I rarely ever pay retail for anything.
