Hester Street Green Market
I've been on a massive food excursion during this trip. It's been even more glutinous since my sister, whose budget far exceeds mine, decided to join in on the fun. Being the doughnut lover she is, we tried The Doughnut Plant in the LES, only to find their donuts heavy with glaze and a bit too much for breakfast. So we kept strolling further into the neighborhood and happened upon the Hester Street Green Market in its first weekend in operation! Someone upstairs really wanted us to eat well, be green, and find vintage goodies!

If you're visiting, don't miss out on this charming market on Sundays. I'll be sure to stop by again next weekend to support the great vendors.

Fish tacos were topped with the freshest coleslaw and the watermelon mint fresca was refreshing.

My cousin decided on the crab slider.

I love how NY-ers make everything miniature.

I went for a simple baguette to get me through the morning. I am a simple girl.

One of the happiest moments was taking a bite into MeltBakery's ice cream sandwiches on this hot and humid day.

I got to try the original, but really wanted to indulge in the Seduction. I guess Julian and Kareem will be seeing me next week as they're exclusively selling at Hester Market!
