swankheights x tiny buffalo

Local t-shirt company Tiny Buffalo (8726 Oak Street) invited me into their shop recently to check out their easy as 1-2-3 t-shirt making process. During my first visit I was able to pick out a design and had the breast cancer shirt (seen here) made within minutes! I was so impressed by the process and instantly knew this is where I'm going to head when I start Christmas shopping for my loved ones. Yep, everyone's getting a t-shirt. Fair warning.

I was pretty ecstatic when owner and creative designer Mando asked me to curate my own shirt. Decided to create an ode to my top ten favorite local eateries! This list certainly doesn't take into account the many other restaurants I love so I'm definitely going to treat myself to another one or two. You can also do the same by sending a list of your favorite New Orleans places (or anything else!) or purchase the one I designed exclusively on their site, www.tinybuffalo.com.

Tiny Buffalo will be open during the much anticipated Oak Street Poboy Fest this Sunday, November 20th so be sure to drop them a visit and I would love to bump into you with a Swank Heights shirt!

OOO. I like this post. very interesting. All of your posts just scream new orleans. Even when I'm just scrolling along and I get to your post and I say to myself "this reminds me of new orleans". I just love everything you post.

I love that! The typography is right on, and I love how well it pairs with your paper bag shorts.

I loe that this is for support of a local company. I don't think I've ever met someone who is as pro-city as Asian Cajuns. I think your support for your local community is really inspiring and heroic. There need to be more people like you.

And this is coming from a Pro-Detroiter. :) I need to learn from you.

Love this look. The blazer/short/scarf combo is one thing I can never do. I get either to hot or it's too cold! Haha.
